Holding the title of the World’s Largest and Richest Billfish tournament in the White Marlin Capital of the World is something to be proud of!

As the White Marlin Open (WMO) competitors like to say… Rules are Meant to be Broken.

For most years since 1977, the WMO has maintained the highest number of registered boats compared to all other billfish tournaments in the world.

The base entry fee per boat is $1,050.00 before June 1st, rising to $1,400.00 after June 1st. This cost covers the entire boat with no limit on how many anglers are aboard!

Once you’ve entered your boat into the tournament, you can additionally enter the boat into the added skill levels.

During this five-day tournament, each boat is allowed a maximum of three fishing days. Fishing hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm each day.

Great deep sea trip this past weekend out of Ocean City on Rhonda’s Osprey, with Captain Joe and his first mate Matt. We could not believe the action that Captain Joe put us on, we caught 60 dolphin in 2 hours, then caught 3 White Marlin to finish the day out.
